Amidst the ongoing turmoil regarding the candidate for Rampur seat, SP has fielded Mohibullah Nadvi. State President Naresh Uttam Patel himself had reached Rampur to resolve the matter on this seat. On the other hand, Ruchi Veera has also filed nomination from Moradabad.
After this the situation here has become more complicated. Everyone’s eyes were on the SP candidates in Rampur and Moradabad for many days. On Rampur seat, Azam Khan wanted the National President of SP to contest the elections himself.
A letter regarding this also became public in the media on Sunday. After this the name of Tej Pratap Yadav started being discussed. Wednesday was the last day for filing nominations. Seeing this, SP state in-charge Patel reached Rampur.
He talked to the family members of Maulana Mohibullah Nadvi along with many SP officials. Then it was agreed to give ticket from Rampur Lok Sabha seat to Raza Nagar resident of Swar area and Imam of Jama Masjid of Delhi Parliament Street.
On Monday, Dr. ST Hasan had filed his nomination as BSP candidate from Moradabad seat. Meanwhile, the discussion about his ticket being canceled started gaining momentum. Till Wednesday afternoon, no party official was ready to speak openly on this issue. Ruchi Veera reached Moradabad in the afternoon and filed her nomination papers.
I am not aware of ticket being deducted: ST Hasan
MP Dr. ST Hasan, who had filed nomination as SP candidate from Moradabad, has been cut off his ticket and former MLA Ruchi Veera has filed his nomination. When asked about this, Dr. Hasan said that he has received the B form. No official information has been given by the party regarding ticket cancellation.
